Matthew H. Goldberg, Ph.D.

I am an Associate Research Scientist at the Yale Program on Climate Change Communication at Yale University. I study persuasion, social influence, ideology, and strategic communication. I apply research insights to build public understanding and motivation to address climate change and other urgent environmental, social, and political issues.

Together with Abel Gustafson, I co-founded XandY Analytics, where we and our team help businesses, nonprofits, and public figures better understand human behavior, public opinion, and communication strategy.
